Today's recipe is one of the easiest dishes to make - Ziti. Below is the McCormick recipe I started with, but I add sautéed zucchini squash and prepared italian sausage to ours...

Baked Ziti is a favorite at potlucks and buffets with good reason -- it's easy, delicious and it travels well.
Makes 12 (1-cup) servings.
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 1 hour 15 minutes
Italian Tomato Sauce (recipe link below)
1 package (16 ounces) ziti
1 container (15 ounces) ricotta cheese
1 package (8 ounces) shredded mozzarella cheese (2 cups)
1 egg
2 teaspoons McCormick® Perfect Pinch® Italian Seasoning
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Black Pepper, Ground
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1. Prepare Italian Tomato Sauce.
2. Preheat oven to 350°F. Cook pasta as directed on package. Drain and return to saucepot. Gently stir in 1 1/2 cups of the tomato sauce, ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, egg, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and pepper until well mixed.
3. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish sprayed with no stick cooking spray. Top with additional 1 1/2 cups of the pasta sauce and Parmesan cheese. Cover with foil.
4. Bake 30 minutes or until heated through. Serve with remaining 3 cups tomato sauce or freeze sauce for later use.per serving
